Y-Bearings Rubber Seat Rings
Y-Bearings Rubber Seat Rings
Rubber seat rings of series RIS 2 (fig 22) are primarily intended to "cushion" Y-bearings in pressed steel housings, although they may also serve as tyres. The seat rings damp vibrations and noise and also enable the bearings to be displaced slightly in their housings to compensate, e.g. for shaft elongation. The permissible operating temperature range is 30 to +110 C.
The rubber seat rings will fit any of the Y-bearings having the same basic size identification, i.e. RIS 204 will fit bearings YEL 204-2F and YAT 204, RIS 205 bearing YAR 205-2RF etc.
