Y-bearings in the YHB 2 and YHC 2 series with a hexagonal bore and in the YQC 2 series with a square bore are intended primarily for use in applications, where high torques have to be transmitted. The bore is produced to a plus tolerance and allows easy mounting and dismounting. These bearings are axially located on the shaft using adjacent components.
The standard outer ring, which has a convex sphered outer surface and no lubrication holes, is identified by the suffix W.
YHB 2 and YHC 2 bearings
Bearings with a hexagonal bore are filled with a special VT357 specification grease (see section Grease fill). They are fitted with the rugged LS8 contact seal, which rides on the ground surface of the inner ring shoulder. In cases where there is a lubrication hole in the outer ring, the suffix W is omitted from the bearing designation.

YQC 2 bearings
Bearings with a square bore are equipped with a highly efficient triple lip contact seal, which rides on the ground surface of the inner ring shoulder. These bearings are filled with the standard grease (see section Grease fill). Bearings having a cylindrical outer surface are also available and identified by the suffix C, e.g. YQC 208-102 CW.
